UNLESS you are using Expression Web where you can choose serif or sans - serif from a list to make life easier for web creation
TABLES should fit within text columns, not going into the "guttering" (the space between them). To get a good fit shrink it down, centre the text or left align it, to reduce the width, then right click on the table and choose AUTOFIT....this might help. Remember to check what font is required in the table as the data for the table may have come from Excel or Access.
If you have to import a table from Access tidy it up in Excel before placing it into your WORD documnet. It's easier to add or delete rows and columns and place a border around around it to define its size in Excel.

At the end of your work check the spelling and make sure the spaces between paragraphs is equal. The column tops should be aligned and images should fit between the columns and be inserted as illustrated on your exam paper.
Remember you INSERT an image from a file, or cut and paste it in. Right click on the image to select how text flows around it.
